This project is a hybrid game prototype which blends the mechanics and visual art style of LEGO games with the core gameplay elements of Call of Duty: Zombies. The game features the charm and accessibility of LEGO titles with the intense, fast-paced action of a zombies survival experience.
· Developing an Enjoyable yet Challenging Gameplay Loop – Ensuring that the core mechanics are intuitive and engaging, making the game enjoyable for players of all skill levels.
· Implementing a Dynamic Wave-Based Spawn System – Designing a balanced enemy spawn system with progressive difficulty scaling, encouraging tactical gameplay and resource management.
· Designing a Variety of Enemy Types – Introducing multiple enemy variants with unique abilities and behaviour to keep gameplay fresh.
· Creating a Fluid and Accessible Character – Designing the playable LEGO character with intuitive controls, smooth movement and responsive actions, ensuring that the gameplay feels seamless and immersive.
· Crafting a Diverse and Balanced Arsenal of Weapons – Include a variety of weapon types, each with different statistics and methods of fire, providing the player with choice and flexibility in combat.
· Implementing a Rewarding Currency and Upgrade System – Introducing a satisfying and rewarding currency system, which enables character and weapon upgrades to aid in progressing through the game.
